JOSH DREON - BIO

Josh Dreon has always worn his heart on his sleeve and in his work. He said goodbye to St. Louis and hello to Los Angeles to start his career, and so far has been impressing fans far and wide, garnering over 1.5 million plays across a handful of platforms.

Speaking his truth about his music, Dreon says, "Whether it’s personal or I channel someone else’s energy, I am always writing with truly authentic vibes and emotions which can be hard to do when writing pop music." With that, he's become a popular indie artist with his single "Lying to Me" which is currently gaining views on Cloud Kid's YouTube channel and will soon be featured on the quarterly compilation album released by Les Mills International in October 2017.

Often writing about love, heartbreak and overall pain he's penned a number of songs that go along with "Lying to Me." This includes "Hold Me Now" which he wrote by channeling the energy of his best friend after she developed a crush on someone while they were on a cruise. Whether he's taking from his own life or that of his friends, he's able to embody emotion and push it through with a melodic and harmonious end result.

Respecting the hustle of artists like One Republic's Ryan Tedder, Josh Dreon hopes to make a name for himself not only as an artist but as an inventive songwriter in the industry. Writing songs riddled with emotion, but that are also conversational to the ear, there is no doubt he's well on his way to writing alongside Tedder one day.
